We are pleased to advise that Korean Air has announced the interview dates for October:

These interviews will be for Captains and First officers as follows;

• A330 – Rated and non Rated
• B737NG – Rated only
• B777 – Rated and non Rated
• B744 – Rated only

There will be two interview dates in October;

• October 4th to 8th
• October 18th to 22nd

If you would like CCL to submit your application, you will need to advise us which prior to September 2nd.  Your application will not be submitted unless we receive clear instruction from you that you will be available over this period. We would be pleased to discuss your application with you, if you have questions about your files, do let us know.

KAL have also set the dates for the November interviews, they will be held from November 8th to the 12th and 22nd to the 26th, if you are unable to attend the September dates, you may be able to plan for these instead.

Tips on getting selected:

KAL will evaluate your application almost entirely on your Application Summary, therefore this needs to be extremely concise. Upon confirmation of your availability for the September interviews, I will email your Application Summary for updating. If your details have not changed, please advise us of this.

NB. Please also advise if you are Cat II/III rated as we are now required to submit this information to the airline.

Following are some tips and recommendations:

• Do not round your hours, take the time to work out the exact hours.
• KAL use the YYYY-MM-DD date format, this is recommended.
• Show your applying/qualifying type on the top row.
• List your employment history in chronological order.
• Provide us with a clear CURRENT well presented photo.
• Provide the file in editable MS Word format, not as a hand-written PDF file.
